I’ve been giving a lecture in the German-Chinese Master Course on Philosophical Aesthetics at Tongji University Shanghai on the Aesthetics of the Future in Relation to Landscape Painting. The latter not being my research topic, but I was so inspired by the excellent presentations that I simply could not resist to draw some connections in my own lecture. Imagine images of future life-worlds as you see them in science fiction were landscapes. How do you feel? How does your body feel while contemplating them in this manner? Do we want to live in such a world? I think I might do more on that topic soon. Stay tuned!
